Bidra med feedbackThe staff was very knowledgeable. Food is very good, they clean the surfaces before making Gf food.
We stopped by this restaurant on a whim while on our way to Mt. Tremblant for takeout. We were unsure of what to expect, but the menu caught our attention with its extensive options. The service was friendly and quick, our order was ready in about 15 minutes. We ordered the plate of 20 assorted sushi pieces and a bento box that was supposed to contain 5 pieces of Shack sushi, 5 cucumber rolls, 2 desserts, Asian salad, and soup. I have never had a bento box that left me feeling hungry after finishing it, so I was disappointed with how small the portions were. The server tried to make up for the missing desserts by giving me a piece of negri, but the miscommunication left me confused. The cucumber roll was tiny, while the Shack roll had a sweet and savory flavor. The Asian salad consisted of cucumbers and carrots dressed with soy sauce. Overall, the assortment of rolls was unremarkable due to their small size, making the meal less filling. This restaurant is one of the least authentic sushi places I have visited, offering the smallest portions.
****! They do not know what Sushi is. Serve only maki rolls with cucumber the size of your pinky.
Surprisingly very good sushi!! I wasn't expecting much and what I discovered totally blew me away I recommend the 4pc inari and spring roll. Everything was fresh and bright and hand made. The presentation was A1. I strongly recommend this place in a mountain town devoid of any good restaurants. This little sushi stands up head and shoulders taller than the competition. PS, A+ for bathrooms
Went there to celebrate a bday. Starting off with the only positive: food was fantastic...miso soup/spring rolls/and of course sushi were good. Negative: Closing policies are quite odd and honestly, can't think of another place that is similar as such. Walked in at 715 (they close at 8) waited 5 mins or so in line to order at the counter. Was told that they are no longer allowing dining in- just carry out. The place is small with only 3 4-tops, and 3 2-tops. Mind you, there was only one 4 top occupied with the family already into their meal. And the only other ppl in there was also a party of 4 who had already ordered. Now, although we were notified of that, they also said it would take 30 minutes to get our food. I really couldn't comprehend that. So not only were we now committed to taking our food back to the hotel, we chose to wait out the 30 because of the bday girl's wishes. During that time, at some point, they just decided to stop serving anyone else that came in before 8. I witnessed 3 ppl come on right at 745 and was told they were closed! Sooooo weird. Back to the wait, what's worse, it ended up being 45 minutes to get our food and was told there were too many call in orders to account for the extra wait time. Funny, because I only saw 2 people come in and pick up their food. I would recommend management revise their closing policies. I travel for a living and have never been to a place like this. Also, another recommendation to the cooks...when two people order two different meals; one with fish, and one vegetarian, YOU DON'T PUT THEM IN THE SAME CONTAINER, regardless if you are, or aren't notified of food allergies! Sheesh. Please don't point to the board behind you when confronted, it's just a good, and known industry practice to not do that!
