Bidra med feedbackWe were very disappointed in regards to the buffet. The food was like a typical buffet. There was nothing out of the ordinary for a buffet of $129. The shrimps and the confit duck legs were very good. As for the rest, the smoked salmon didn't seem fresh, the Ragoût de boulettes was tasteless, the turkey was dry and there was not a lot of variety as I was told when I reserved. We were expecting way much for a Happy New Year celebration. However the staff was very professionnal, nice, smiling and attentive to our need. I give them a 5 stars.
The menu has changed significantly and is no longer as refined as it once was. We used to enjoy the fine dining experience, so we were very disappointed. There’s hardly any seafood available (only mackerel and salmon), no wings, limited choices of local dishes (just BBQ ribs), and no veal. The only vegetarian option is a mushroom risotto, but is there really spaghetti Bolognese? Overall, it feels more like an average restaurant rather than a place that warrants a reservation. On a positive note, the service was excellent, which did enhance our experience slightly. Unfortunately, we don’t plan to return.
The price was reasonable, and I found the spaghetti sauce and meatballs to be very good. However, the pasta itself was below average and could benefit from a higher quality.
The meal felt like a good "home-cooked" experience, but it was definitely overpriced for what we received. It was worth about half of what we paid.
We tried the "experience menu" and it was excellent! The filet mignon was perfect! The staff was friendly and prompt. We dined outside, and the lack of music made the atmosphere feel a bit off, but everything else was fantastic.
