Golden Corral - Milwaukee

The meal at this restaurant consisted of a small portion of meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, seasoned green pinto beans, yeast rolls, macaroni and cheese, and fried chicken. The only downside was that the portion of meatloaf was lacking and wasn't worth the price, as it was more suitable for four people. Fortunately, I was glad I also ordered the chicken dish.

The portion size of the Smoked Pulled Pork was adequate, but it was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. The Baked Beans were delicious and the best I've ever had. The Yeast Rolls were a decent size. The Minute Maid Lemonade (available in Half Gallon or Gallon sizes) was refreshing.

When I order everything is great except two things I seem to have an issue with. the rice seems to be hard and EVERYTIME I order sweet potatoes, I NEVER receive them. i do appreciate them making up for it by giving more rolls. otherwise everything is perfect.

The steak dinner was incredibly tasty and I particularly enjoyed the dinner rolls.

Although I never got the Dr Pepper the dark meat Fried Chicken was larger than average pieces, juicy, and well seasoned. The macaroni and cheese was better than I would have expected. The mashed potatoes are a bit watery, flavorless, and very little gravy. Id order the chicken dinner again, just choosing a different side from the mashed potatoes. I thought the chicken was far better than KFC and others specializing in fried chicken.
