Robata Ramen and Yakitori Bar - Memphis

Food was the best. Waitress service/order taking was fantastic; no mistakes. Little bit pricey as to be expected. The only problem seemed to be the kitchen... my wife had her food almost finished by the time I got my order...even though the food is worth the wait.

My worse dining experience ever. the time between the first dish and last entree for a party of six was 55 minutes. Like other reviews said,they are out of main items so menu is limited. They seem to specialize in kabobs but were not serving them that night since so many items were not available. Little things like asking for lemon and never getting it.

My mom and I ate there for the first time a few days ago and we loved it. Nice quiet atmosphere with cute patio seating. I ordered a matcha margarita, which was delicious. The octopus seaweed salad and shrimp gyoza were amazing. My mom ordered the seafood yakiudon and ate all of it, something that is unheard of for her. I ordered the Asahikawa ramen and I am in love. The bone broth was amazing and simply perfection. All of the vegetables very perfect accompaniments and the pork belly added a wonderful rich flavor. Will definitely be back again.

We’ve been to Robata several times and never had a problem, but this time it took us 10 minutes after we sat down to get service, and they were out of half the food we ordered. We sat without drinks several times and overall were very disappointed with the experience.

A couple of friends and I found this ramen bar on Yelp and decided to try it out. I can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations by a long shot. We all ended up trying new food and loving it. Can’t wait to go back!
