Chipotle Mexican Grill - Memphis

This location specifically is a joke. They were out of chicken, no medium salsa, no guacamole, no corn salsa, no kids tortillas. Oh and you can’t order quesadillas in person. Only on the app?!?! What a joke. The employees also could careless. I’ve never seen a more apathetic group of humans.

The entire store was filthy. The food preparation table was filthy. When they wrapped my sons burrito it had sour cream all over the outer wrapper from the dirty table. There was trash all over the kitchen floor and the crew was walking around in a puddle of water. I counted at least 8 workers. The dinning room was a mess as well, so we ended up eating outside in the heat. This is by far the worst Chipotle I have visited, and I am a loyal customer.

This has to be the most poorly managed Chipotle in the country. No matter how short the line, it always takes forever to order your food and pay. There is always a bottleneck, either ordering or at the cashier. The whole digital orders segment is a total disaster. Always a zoo of people crowded around just past the cashier, in front of all the shelves that they no longer put the food on (for what reason I have no idea). The food is never ready on time if you order on the app, which I have sworn off after too many disappointments. If there is a saving grace it 's that the food usually ends up tasting decent despite themselves. They need a new manager, firstly, as well as employees with some drive to work hard and, more importantly, quickly.

BLUF: This restaurant could use a deep cleaning.Came in on a Thursday afternoon well after the lunch rush. The food was excellent, which is the reason for two stars. Other than that the experience was terrible.The most egregious aspect of this particular restaurant was the cleanliness. There wasn’t a trash can in the entire place that wasn’t overflowing with garbage. None of the tables were clean. All of them had trash, food and used condiments on them. I had to wipe off my table and chair with napkins.The Coke Zero fountain drink machine shot soda everywhere except for my cup. The staff was okay, the poor girl at the hot station kept running out of ingredients. When she called for more it didn’t seem like the kitchen staff was acknowledging her because she had to keep walking to the kitchen to repeat herself. The cashier seemed more preoccupied with her phone and engaging with coworkers than ringing up my order.As I said the cleanliness of the front half of the restaurant was horrendous. If that’s the portion that is presented to the customers, no telling how bad the kitchen areas looked. The food was fine but I won’t be visiting this specific Chipotle again in the future. If you value your health and safety I would recommend you avoid, if possible as well.

This place needs help. Restaurant dirty. Drink station sticky everywhere. Employees don’t listen when placing order. More concerned with moving fast rather then getting the order right. Employees making negative comments. Overall experience bad. Rice was still hard and bland.
