Applebee's Grill - McKinney

The food was good, but I wasn't a fan of the chicken strip. It was a little bland and dry or it would have been from four stars on the food. Our server was excellent, adult drinks were great!! All a great experience. Food: 3/5

Our waitress Amber was super nice. The burgers we ordered were tasteful and juicy. One of us had the weaponries and the other had steakfries. Thank you for your great portion and food. We'll be back. Food: 5/5

I was at least 5 times last month at this point and can only remember twice that the service was great. Thanks Katherine and Sandra. The tables need a good cleaning. The food is great when it's hot. Half is too busy and waiting goes up and the service goes out of the window. Food: 3/5

It's been years since I was with an Applebee. Always had bad experiences. decided to give them a try again. Responsive host, great waitress, food came fast and hot. Wife and I enjoyed our visit.

Maybe the table side experience here is different, but we had quite a bad experience with our online pickup order.The boneless wings were good, 5/10.The burger was okay, 4/10.Most of the rest of the food the chicken tenders, the fries looked and tasted like they 'd been sitting on the counter all day. 2/10.The coleslaw literally looked like it had been sitting on the counter all night. I didn 't even try it. 1/10.Overall, I 'd say the food was noticeably worse than what I 'd expect from a fast food restaurant on an average day.The service after placing the online order, the order form indicated that I could pick it up curbside. When I got there, there were pieces of paper taped to the sign saying that they weren 't doing curbside. So that was the first, relatively minor, inconvenience. I had my toddlers with me, so I figured I’d call to see if they could do me a favor and bring it out. I called. It rang for a couple of minutes no answer. So I go in with my toddlers, get the food, go back out to the car. Get my toddlers loaded up, start checking the bag. The wings are missing. So I get the kids out again, haul them back inside, and ask for the wings. Was told it would take 3 minutes to get fresh ones. Ok, great. I wait several minutes there with my kids and finally get the wings. No apology for getting my order wrong or for the wait. Here 's some ranch sauce. I didn 't mention that I 'd ordered blue cheese. 2/10
