I left Mt. Shasta on my way to Lake Tahoe and came across this gem! I’ve never had potato pancakes before but I’m so glad I tried them out here! They were delicious and the service was on par!

Linda is a very friendly, loving owner cook who makes a great tasting potato pancake. I go every Sunday that I'm in the area. Usually about 15 times a year.

Can’t say enuf good words about the lodge or the very nice owner, Linda. Food was high quality, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Price was fair. Service prompt and friendly. The cafe was clean and homey. The bar looked like a cool place to hang out for a lazy afternoon. Will we go back? Oh yeah!

Absolute must stop for breakfast/brunch if you 're driving through. Great potato pancakes and tasty coffee. Friendly atmosphere with a taste of the easy-going nature of the area. Cell service is a little spotty, but that 's perfect for a rustic brunch!
