Marina's Pizza - Manatee County

Let me start by saying how sad I am that I have to give this review. This place was my family 's favorite pizza shop and this evening was the last time I patronize this business. I started by calling my order in for pick up. Ordered one large and one small pizza. When i arrived for pick up with two 7 yr old hungry girls I paid cash $38.25 and was given a receipt. Then I find out the pizzas were never made because the order disappeared. I asked that they remake them. No problem on my side but also no apology. When the order was finished I saw the young man pick it up and all the toppings slid almost completely off. The acting manager grabbed it and took it out of view for a few minutes then brought it back. The young man brought it to me and I said, I 'd like to check the pizza. He told me to go ahead and walked away. I looked and slammed the lid of the box back in place and left extremely angry. The acting manager threw more toppings on the pizza and just gave it back to me. It tasted horrible! I decided to call and ask for the owners name so I could privately share with him my experience. Instead of that happening I was bated into an argument with the acting manager telling me I couldn 't have the owners name. I explained it was on a business license within the shop and did I have to go in to get the name?! We continued with the argument even when I told him I just wanted to share my experience with the owner. He screamed at me, no, I couldn 't have his name. Then he said, sorry. I replied, that 's the first apology I got and NOW it 's not good enough. We will never spend another penny in this place bc they clearly don 't care about the customer. Saddened, appalled and dismayed.

More than just great pizza!! They have awesome italian food and the owner and his team are awesome!

Marina’s Pizza has some of the best tasting pies, hoagies and wings in town. The restaurant itself is quaint and down-home. The restaurant staffs youngsters/hogs schoolers. But you can tell the owners handpick nice kids. Very good servers who are conscientious about doing a good time. You cant go wrong having a meal here. I must admit I can’t speak of delivery as my family and I have always dined in. If you haven’t tried Marina’s yet, stop reading this and order up. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Order a carryout cashier said 20 minutes talk about 40 while my pizza set and got cold on top of the pizza ovens place not very clean staff not well organized pizza had three pepperonis on one piece and a mushroom the other piece had 20 pepperoni and new mushroom The other piece had 20 mushroom and one pepperoni very sloppily made definitely not the best experience

Nice local pizza place. I had the lasagna and it was a large portion with several layers of pasta, cheese, and sauce Everyone seemed to be enjoying the pizza and sandwiches. Give them a try .
