Pilipan - Malindi

Good sunset view and super delicious food. Maybe the best we have eaten in Kenya so far. Butter chicken is a must have.

Saturday happy is the best. Try the passion mojitos, you can't go wrong. Appetizers are great too and the sunset is perfect.

If you love to eat ambience, this is a lovely place to do it and you can catch the sun setting. The food was underwhelming for me considering the price point.

We are British Nationals living in Kenya, currently on holiday at Watamu. We booked a table for 2 at Pilipan, July 2021, as a holiday treat and were not disappointed. Beautiful setting (see photo), very friendly staff, gorgeous food, good, efficient service and very fair prices. 2 course meal with wine for ca £40. Would definitely recommend and, if we visit Watamu again, we will return to this restaurant.
