Swahili Cafe is out of this world! The food pilau, mbuzi, coconut fish and rice is to die for. The owner and the staff are so sweet and freely interacts with the clients. Such a simple set up with lifetime experience! Did I mention how good the tea was? And mahamri? And their soup? I could easily write a whole book about the awesomeness of this place. In summary, visit Swahili Cafe!

Swahili cafe was a special one in Watamu. It was not disappointing to walk 20min or take a boda boda for the food at Swahili Cafe. The staff here are kind and helpful. Fresh fruit salad and Mbuzi fry were my favorite.

Sumptuous and delicious Swahili dishes at affordable prices. Biriani, pilau, samosas, beans in coconut sauce, chapatis, mahamri chicken tika, served with passion.
