Sonic Drive-in - Loves Park

We are really looking forward to going to sonic. you eat is excellent. the personal is always very good. really like in the location, to the outside ordering center, so we look our time over the menu and decide what they want.

The new churro shake is....try the 2/$5 1/4lb. double cheese burger. WOW..cute date night feel incoming. yes they eat the car, or enjoy a table! definitiw one of the lost almost food trends of the 60s-70s!

There is good and bad here. Let's start with the good. I have not had anything that I didn't like from this place. Hamburgers, Coney dogs, ice cream, whatever. It was all pretty good. The cranberry slushes are a particular favorite of mine. The crew is friendly and polite. Now for the not so good. The app sucks beyond belief. At times it is almost unusable. It's nice to be able to order ahead and pay ahead but the app is almost random as to whether it's going to work or not. The wait time is just painful. Sometimes I order a cranberry slush and nothing else in the app and pay for it in the app and have had to wait several times over a half hour for them to bring it out. I don't know whether this is a management problem or an ownership problem or what but it's bad enough that it deters me from wanting to go there because I don't want to wait a half hour.

As sad as this sounds I drove about 40 minutes to this place because we don't have a sonic around here. I got popcorn chicken, tots and a Oreo cheesecake shake and a soft pretzel. The tots and the pretzel were good, the rest wasn't great but overall I would probably go back and get different items

I love their slushies most of the time, and sometimes the burgers can be pretty good. Service has been real spotty, and that could be due to understaffing. I mostly use the the app to get half price drinks and between waiting forever for things or getting disappointing food I usually avoid the rest.
