Stone House Inn - Little Compton

My wife and I stayed at Stone House in April 2022 for our anniversary getaway. We always look for a quiet and peaceful place to relax, and Stone House was perfect for us. We stayed in the Bailey room, which had the largest bath I have ever seen. As a tall person (6'5"), I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the bath. The room itself was amazing, with a propane fireplace, huge leather couch, rain shower, and hardwood floors. It was impressive how they seamlessly combined the old building with modern luxury. I had a conversation with the manager Olivia about the history of the place and the hard work they have put into it, and it's clear that they are dedicated to continuously improving. During our stay, there were new parking spaces and some new landscaping being done. Despite it being early in the season and many local restaurants being closed, we were enchanted by the calm and serenity of Stone House. We will definitely be returning thanks to the warmth and passion of the amazing staff, including Olivia, Marion, and Amy. Thank you for a great stay!

The restaurant has beautiful settings and rooms, including the largest tub I've ever seen. Manager Olivia provides wonderful service.

My friends and I decided to flee to my birthday in the february after stone house inn. because it was outside the season and quiet in the village little compton, we decided to rent a chef and have a birthday dinner in the tap room, which is a pub in front of the place that was used as a language during the prohibition. it has an amazing kamin and serves our party of 20 comfortably. the chef was recommended by the people in the newport experience, the owners of the stone house inn, and served an amazing three cursor meal. the rooms are beautiful, the views of the sea are incredible. while the day of our visit was quite cold, some members of our party went to the beach while others stayed warm from the fireplace on the property. we had a great time. I would recommend stone house inn very for every meeting formal or informal.

This is quite possibly one of my favorite New England inns. I was surprised for my birthday with a weekend here and loved it. Stone House is beautiful, tastefully updated and right near the beach in Little Compton.
