Zoup! - Lincoln

Out of all the soup options, only three were vegetarian when we went. And, they ran out of the broccoli cheddar even though it was over an hour til they were scheduled to close. Our sandwiches took a very long time, they said something about having to thaw bread. When we got our soup: tomato, it was good but not exactly hot. And, the cheese on our sandwich only partly melted. The most frustrating thing, though, was the price tag for what we got. It was $48 for our family of 5. Would have been nice for an employee to tell us that Wednesday is family night and two of our children could have had free meals. When we saw this AFTER ordering, they said it was too late to change. We will not be back.

The soup was horrible. The sample tasted a lot better than the actual serving and they ran out of the one we ordered. Gave us the remains which were burned and we got that along with another flavor which was equally flavorless. They forgot the bread. It was a to-go order and when I called about the bread they said I could drive back and get it. Seriously, not going back.

I tried a new place for lunch today. Zoup! The aromas change daily. You can sample before your order. I couldn't choose between sharp crabs or white chili, so I both paired with five grain bread. Definitely on this cold day.

So good! The great thing is that you can try the soup before you buy it!! And the staff is excellent! Very patient as you try the soup!

I've never been much of a soup and sandwich person, but I went on a day with some friends, and I've been hooked up since! The chicken sandwiches are fabulous and I enjoyed every soup I tried. The French bread tastes like the real one, and if you have chewing gum on the menu... YUM! If you weren't yet, don't worry. You will tell you how it works when you go in, and they offer soup samples so that you are sure to love your meal!
