Molletes is a delightful restaurant that offers a unique twist on authentic cuisine. The food is delicious and prices range from $10-20 per person. The service is excellent, receiving a rating of 5, as is the cozy atmosphere. Overall, a great dining experience.

The salsa has a great flavor and our meals were fine...nothing special. The design of the interior does nothing to combat the noise levels on a busy night. So loud my table gave up on any type of conversation. When the host seated us he stated they were out of menus so it would be a few minutes before we would get one. The menus never came. Our server came by with chips and salsa and took our drink order. He also asked if we would like an appetizer. We told him we didn't get menus so didn't know what was available. He walked away. Got our drinks, no menus. Server came back later to take our order...we had at that point looked online at the menu. The online menu is lacking in detail so we had to make an educated guess on what was included with some items. Ordered dishes we recognized since descriptions were not available on each option. Then our server seemed to have forgotten about us and we waited too long for our check...which we had to ask for. Food was fine but not worth the terrible experience. Will not return.

I'm not sure why this restaurant is called a progressive Mexican restaurant, but the food was really good. I ordered the burrito with chorizo and it was huge. It didn't come with any sides, but there were plenty of chips and salad to share. The service was a bit slow - we went at 5pm on a Saturday and there were only a few other tables occupied. It took a while for our waiter to greet us and bring the check. However, I appreciate that they didn't rush our party of 8 out after we finished eating.
