Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant has stunning views and the interior is pleasantly decorated. The outdoor terrace is somewhat basic and lacking in charm. Drinks are moderately priced but the food menu is extremely expensive. Our drinks and food order were taken and food arrived fairly promptly but we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for the bill. Eventually one of us had to go and pay inside. The high food cost does not match the level of service which is quite poor. We were disappointed and won’t be retuning.
There was a wait as no outside service and we hadn’t reserved but it was worth it . The waiter who served us was lovely and we were seated upstairs with a beautiful view . I enjoyed the avocado toast , kids bolognese and chicken . It was pricey but worth it . Locally made and delicious .
Booked for a table for 6 at 14:00...left waiting for over 20 minutes standing on an outside staircase with no suggestion as to when a table may become available. An apology and an invitation to wait inside with a drink may have helped. When eventually seated food was passable if a little pricey. To be honest if this is the usual way guests are treated I would give it a miss if I were you.
This was our first ever visit and it was almost faultless. Unlike our visit to Rok Bistro (yesterday) we were warmly greeted and given an excellent table. The service was superb throughout. The food is also first-class. Particularly the (house special) Veal Kidneys with mustard sauce, roasted vegetables and mash. My only complaint is about the wine. The wine list is fantastic but only if you are a group. Wine by the class is a choice of 1 and there were no half bottles available. This can be easily remedied. Otherwise fantastic and I am already looking forward to the next visit.
Came without a reservation for lunch just before 12, we got a table without waiting. We ordered the kidneys, trout, and pork tenderloin. Everyone was very happy with their dishes. Portions were huge and the sides were great (especially the mashed potatoes). The lemon tart for dessert was perfect. Yes it’s expensive but compared to what you might pay for equal food in Switzerland or the US it’s a steal.
