Roger's Pizzerolo - Lemon Grove

Delicious pizza, super friendly staff. New regular lunch and dinner place. Cheese lovers and meat lovers cakes are incredibly good. dare out and got the pasta slice and was delicious. traditional NY pizza safe

For beginners we were worried when we saw hot sauce on the tables. But from ordering and receiving our pizza it was great! They had not much choice for slices, so we went freshly cooked with half a margarita and half sausage. It was amazing, the pizza was delicious and the crust too. The cash register was polite and the servers were on point and polite. Everyone in this restaurant was fabulous. My only proposal is more options for discs, but in addition, this place gets a simple 5-star rating. I am a born and raised New Yorker, so I can't say it's the same, but very close! I recommend this pizza place in a heart beat beautiful work and my best for you guys and again have more slices, especially if you offer a 2 disc and beverage deal or a disc and beverage deal

Excellent pizza and very friendly service and staff. Some of the custom pizza creations are delicious. The pasta pizza is tasty and the daily slice is great! Definitely recommend giving this new place an attempt!

When I think about pizza, that's what I think. The only other place I know in San Diego that made pizza with a very similar taste was Mike's pizza in San Marcos, but they are closing off permanently when Kovid Hit. I don't know if most pizza is like this in New York, but it's relatively hard to get to Cali and it's definitely my favorite, even under the "NY style". Thin, crispy, not too fat, and just the right ratio of sauce, cheese and meat. Some other NY style pizzas do not add enough sauce, but Rogers gets it right

I'm from the east coast and it's hard to find good pizza in SD outside of Little Italy. This place has legit New York style pizza and pastas. I live close and it's very tempting to come here more.
