Counterpoint - La Jolla

A nice spot for brunch! It wasn't very busy so if you prefer quiet over loud this is your place. The service was also very good. The chicken and waffle benedict was delicious, I highly recommend. There are many creative cocktails on the menu that I will have to come back and try more of.

A true Golden Hill staple. Every menu change comes with tasty new options, the beer list is constantly rotating quality, varied dankness, and the cocktails are damn good, too. This is a perfect little place. Go. Trust me.

I have never in my 54 years on this planet walked into a bar and felt more welcomed than I did at counterpoint tonight. We took a seat at the bar and within a minute the owner offered us a shot. We had a great conversation with Zoe, one of the bartenders, throughout our time there. The beer selection was really good as was the food. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If we called San Diego home, this would be our local, no matter where in the city we lived.

Met up here with some friends. Most enjoyable. Staff was friendly and helpful.
