Bidra med feedbackThe only worthwhile Indian/Pakistani joint in the area. No frills, just solid curries and biryanis. Never feel overstuffed after eating there and weekend buffet is a must.
Probably the best biriyani I have had in the US till now. Particularly, the goat biriyani is the closest in taste and texture to the iconic biriyani I have had back in my hometown of Calcutta, where they also put fried whole potatoes into the mix as well. The buffet is decent as well for the price. My only minor complaint is that some of the items on the buffet bar tend to get a bit cold on account of poor heating. Instead of cooking a lot of chicken for the buffet stand at once, they should do it in batches so that the taste stays fresh.
I just got take it from here vegetable samosa and chicken dum biryani... It was amazing. While the chicken was bone in, it didn't bother me very much. The pieces were big enough that the bones were easy to eat around. It was delicious, flavorful and just the right amount of heat/spiciness. The samosas were quite tasty, too. They were surprisingly large and were nice and fresh. I don't know what the sauces were, but they were a perfect complement to the dish. The staff were very friendly and were ready with suggestions. The establishment is clean and well kept and service was speedy. I will definitely be eating here again!
Good, cheap generic 'Indian ' food. I believe that the current cook is Pakistani actually but they provide a good selection of dishes for dining. I 'm generally there for the lunch buffet which has a decent selection of dishes, mostly vegetarian but always at least one chicken dish also. A reasonable selection for an inexpensive lunch buffet. The full dine in menu, all of which can be ordered for take out, offers more dishes and meat choices along with appetizers and dessert.
