5 stars across the board. Cool, relaxed vibe with great service and food. While I am disappointed I didn't find this place sooner, I am looking forward to returning for our next celebration or just a great meal. PS: Love the Limoncello and Cheese cake as well! Food was excellent! I ALWAYS have to ask for salt, but not here; they know how to season their food. Amazing house made pasta, cooked perfectly and the sauce was so full of depth and flavor. Many great wines to choose from and cannoli was unlike any I've had before. The filling was so creamy and delicious! I highly recommend trying this place! The food and service were excellent. However, my only complaint is that it was hard to find as their sign did not stand out and was hard to read. The tables and chairs were high and for someone who is shorter, it was very difficult for me to get up into the chair. Otherwise, I enjoyed the experience. My family and I attended a Seminar in Albany for one night and we wanted to enjoy a special meal. We found Villa de Como had excellent reviews so we made a reservation, a small cozy homelike restaurant well matched to our delicious dinners the exceptional ingredients were evident in every bite! We purchased a bottle of their Marinara sauce which was truly special our only regret is not having bought a case of it. Thank You for our special meal and the one we made at our home with your Marinara sauce. Food, ambiance and service was beyond amazing our first visit. We were so excited to have found our spot . Upon returning that was not the case. The service was awful and the food was subpar. The pasta was not the same as it was and told no longer available? When mentioning this to the Chef/Owner he spoke to us like a pompous ass. Like we were idiots for even noticing. We would have made plans to return BUT our interaction with said Mr Pompous....no thank you. There are PLENTY of other restaurants that I 'd rather spend my time and money.
