Lake Louise Station Restaurant

The bison short ribs, zucchini tomatoes, and roasted potatoes were delicious. The service was friendly and fabulous. The chef has Celiac disease, so he understands dietary restrictions.

My family of four had a delightful dinner outdoors at this lovely restaurant the other night. The pork schnitzel and bison lasagna were both outstanding. The strawberry rhubarb cobbler was the best I've ever had. Our server, Destiny, was attentive, friendly, and provided us with excellent recommendations. We wish we could have dined there again, but it was our last night. Thank you for a fantastic dinner!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! It was a lucky find to come across the railway car dining experience next to Station Cafe. As fans of old train history, we thoroughly enjoyed the luxurious dining car meal. Our family had a delightful dinner with top-notch service, enjoying a prix fixe menu. This is a must-visit for anyone who loves old trains and the golden age of rail.

Away from the Lake Louise main drag, it was very peaceful out there. The food was very flavorful, I ordered the summer linguini and loved it! One of us had the chef’s special and it came with French onion soup, seared tuna with polenta, and choice of dessert. We had the bear claw for dessert and it tasted like s’mores heaven! The atmosphere was very authentic, as it was a train station before. I liked the vibe. The waitress was friendly and regularly checked up on us to make sure the food was okay. After our hearty meal, we explored the land around the restaurant, and found a part of the train (the dining area) that was open to parties. There was a river nearby and a place for trails. I recommend the summer linguine and French onion soup, it was delicious!

My cycling group of 15 people were here for lunch. All our meals had been selected beforehand, so I did not have a chance to look at the menu. But I had selected a Niçoise salad with salmon beforehand, and I am so happy that I did. The salmon was absolutely delicious. It was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. Even the green beans in the salad were so fresh and tender that many of the people in my group who had ordered this dish remarked about them. Someone posted on their face book page that it was the best nicoise salad that they have ever had. The best thing about traveling is all the new experiences that Won has. The worst thing is that they are often unrepeatable. This is a meal I would love to have again.
