Bidra med feedbackWe loved this place! Fish chips were great. My wife had the Chicken Bacon Ranch packing and said it was delicious, our friend had the Patty Melt that she commented, best Patty Melt I ever had! And the ice... delicious! Loved the atmosphere, fun place. We will definitely come back!
This place is hidden behind a mountain retreat business. The reason I mention this is because you really feel like you found a jewel when you're here. The food is good, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is welcoming. My brother in law, and the friend of my other sister decided to go on a fishing trip to the Monument Lake. On the way through La Vita my brother said this place was one of the best places to eat in the city. He didn't joke. I had a Jalapeno Popper Burger and was a little concerned about the combination of two things I loved in a guest. However, the cream cheese was delicious over a good size Patty only over medium. There were lots of extra cheese that fell out of my burger and for a good bath for my fries, of which there was a lot. I just drank water, but my fish friends ordered milkshakes. I was jealous right away. They looked amazing and didn't last long, so they must have been delicious. The other extraordinary feature here is the atmosphere. Inside you will find authentic, robust furniture. The individual windows are stylish and indicative for an old time you feel here. It's almost like visiting a friendhouse more than a restaurant. If it is a beautiful day, make sure to sit on the terrace, and play at least one game of corn hole while waiting for your food. Together with the small city-friendly staff, we almost decided to hang around here instead of fishing. We have a little competition over the grain hole. In the end we left, caught a lot of fish and went home. That was a month ago, and I remember this place because how much it stands out. Have fun.
Hidden jewel in La Veta, good food, soft serve desserts, and excellent beer from Square Peg Brewery!
This little jewel is the perfect place to get a bite. If you've never been to LaVeta, it's a great day trip. The most beautiful, original shops and great landscape all around. Fucked in the block, there is a large terrace where you can step back and enjoy. You use a hot air frit, so enjoy delicious sweet potato fries guilt free! Mosey over the street and check our Silvershoe jewelry and knives. Owned and operated by the artists themselves.
This was an awesome find on our part. The La Veta Inn referred us there and we thank them. The staff and food was wonderful. The Summer Wheat Craft Beer was my favorite along with the Beef and Bells Wrap. I don't know when we will return to CO but I will definately come back to The Bugling Bull when I am in La Veta. Great Atmosphere and food. (Beer too)
