Dog Bar & Grill - LA VETA

We had a great experience at Dog Bar Grill during our first visit. The deep fried pickles and mushrooms are spot on. I could've eaten the entire tray of the mushrooms they're fried to perfection! Whatever you get, make sure to ask for a side of their jalapeño ranch dressing. We also ordered the Hangover Burger and bowl of green chili and both were good. If you're driving through southeast Colorado or visiting Cuchara, make sure to pop in. And don't leave without trying the Famous Dog Bar Mud Pie the perfect mix of ice cream pie loaded with coffee ice cream, almonds, a chocolate cookie crust. Excited to go back and explore more of their menu.

The food is amazing! And our dogs were totally welcome out on the covered patio. This place will be on our agenda every time we pass nearby Cuchara.

We love the Dog Bar. The owners and staff are great. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is consistently delicious, and the outdoor deck setting has beautiful views of the mountains. Cornhole is a fun bonus.
