Alexia - La Souterraine

From the city with a lot of safe parking. the restaurant was busy and obviously popular with locals who are always a good sign in my own. the food was good, the prices were very reasonable and there were many employees to hand. it was a good experience for fast lunch and we will certainly use it again.

This hotel /restaurant is a buffet option, but the menu offers a good selection of food, served fast, but definitiw does not eat fast. beautiful staff and a bar with some local beer. bespoke

The restaurant is excellent and the staff helpful friendly. for me it was one of those days when my body literally begged me for red meat, and Alexia was delicious. a medium rare steak with pomme frittes, both ready for perfection. I also stayed in the hotel for these one night know that I had to be on the road around 0400 ... the poor manager will realize who I am when he had to go out the bed to open the tor so that I could drive away from the hotel area. I give him a huge hearty “thanks” . I couldn’t find out how to use the code. as well as the open taste

The Hotel Alexia is a modern hotel with traditional values. Clean, well proportioned ensuit bedrooms with uk and french tv channels. Reception has helpful English speaking staff but check out can be troublesome.......a notice in the lift advises checking out the night before you are...leaving, to speed up departure.......good advice. The evening menu in the restaurant was general European, not typical French, but quite acceptable. Breakfast was, on the other hand, all French, adiquate and enjoyable. Prices reasonable for the area, close to motorways and main routes

We ate there three evenings and food was superb! Steaks are the way to go with Blue cheese mmmm! Staff freindly and there is even and english waitress to help with ordering
