Bidra med feedbackLet me just start this review by saying I absolutely love this place!!! I moved from San Diego five years ago and came here and liked it. Well, while I returned to enjoy the local aquarium in La Jolla, I mentioned my friends about Regents and said we should go there for lunch. Everyone was hesitant, but I assured them that the food was good. There was little too no trouble to park and they were able to get 11 of us including a newborn within two minutes of arrival. Once we were all in us, we all took a look at the menu and went forward to order. You have a very wide selection of beers on tap from local craftsmanship, from the state and of course domestic. I am usually hesitant to ask for samples of beer because usually that frustrated bartender, especially when it is busy. But the woman who likes to work let me try three different beers and didn't let me feel like I'm a problem at all. Not only was I satisfied with it, I was also satisfied with the murky hazy IPA I chose. After that, our food was ordered in less than 10 minutes and delivered to us. Maybe you find it hard to believe, but I feel like it was some of the best food, service and whether I had in a long time. The whole food was excellent and cooked for perfection. As I explained to some of our friends, the food that was fried was how the oil was clean. We had a medium-sized paprika pizza, a meat lover Chicago disc, a side order of fries and three Nashville spicy wings. We didn't finish it all, but were very happy to take everything home. As a rule, if you like this type of food other places you feel terrible either directly after or shortly after. We felt happy with all the food and enjoy the remains later. I know this review is long, but I felt that the great food and service deserves a well explained review. Kudos to the owners of Regents Pizzeria, you have a beautiful decor with large and friendly staff. Unfortunately, La Jolla has the Stigma of Snobby restaurants with high prices. This is definitely not the case here, for everything we ordered, we paid under $70 and had more than enough to take home. I and my wife are already planning a trip to come back and enjoy this delicious food! We also tried some of our friends dishes and definitely want to get back for those we are not able to get. Five.
Delicious Pizza by the slice! I left there and said to my friend, This place runs like a well oiled machine . The staff is kind and helpful. The hard apple cider from Julian was divine. And we got a side of the Buffalo cauliflower wings. Yummy! Spicy with ranch blue cheese on the side! The food and service gets my 5 star . However, eating there is pretty loud. They have family style tables which is fun for mixing and mingling if you 're in that mood. However the noise that night was over the top and give inside eating a 4 star for that night. Highly recommend! I will definitely go again!
This is such a great local pizza joint! They have Chicago style as well as NY Style pizzas that can be sold by the slice or by whole pies. But don't just go for the pizzas. They have some great appetizers, salads, pastas and sandwiches/burgers as well. They also have a great draft list which includes at least 2 ciders (which is my drink of choice) and the service is awesome as well.
Stopped I for a quick bite. Fresh ingredients, crusty dough, and good service. A great stop for those on the run. And they have beer.
I am able to come here all once in a while and go for the deep plate of Popeye Pizza (Spinch and Veggie), Nashville hot crispy chicken sandwich and/or chicken wings. All are fabulous if not the best in the whole state!! Parking is validated and when the lot is full, there are usually some parking spaces on the street not too far away. Do not try to go there on a Tuesday, although they are CLOSED! I didn't even do that, but twice, hahahaha. My fault, but a real disappointment.
