Victoria's Mexican Food - La Jolla

This food is no joke. Big portions. The oysters are huge!!! Great atmosphere. Wish we could have sat outside, but mom likes sitting at the bar. Outside seating looked very inviting.

I love this place. I've been here for lunch for about 20 years.

We eat here every year when we visit family in ib look forward to a California burrito everytime but all there food is the best !

Haven't been here in a while but I was craving some rolled tacos and made an observation. Several of the local taco shops or Mexican restaurants, however you want to call them, no longer sell rolled tacos in fact one restaurants staff told me they don't sell rice or beans either, which really shocked me. But here at Victoria's they have the traditional classic Mexican restaurant menu. The dishes I've tried in the past were all delicious.

Was very impressed with food quality! Fries were amazing! My only complaint would be the hot sauce had no spice what so ever. Same as when we asked for chillies. I have a high tolerance for hot food so some may think what they have is fine, but definitely would like a hotter option! ?
