Bidra med feedbackI feel like all traditional Chinese / Vietnamese bakeries are located in City Heights and I wanted a very special taste that 85 degrees, Paris Baguette and 99 ranch not offered. I wanted Pandan with durian fruit fillings in the Convoy area. So I found Tasty Bakery. This bakery sells individual baked pastries like Pate Chaud, Pandan coconut slices, salted egg sweet rolls, Taro bread, Boba drinks and cakes. There are already cakes in the refrigerator ready to be sold or you can customize your own before ordering. What to note: 1. Inside cake taste I got Pandan 2. Fruit fillings I have durian 3. Outside the Icing color I didn't understand it and when I picked up I got a green that is the color of the Pandan. I would have asked for Pink. 4. Side Decoration I have almond slices 5. Writing I got birthday six. I have red 7. Cake size I got the smallest, the 6 inches for $28. About 6 8 discs. 8. Pickup date It was a Sunday and I asked after Tuesday, but they are closed Tuesday and offered Monday. This means they can pick up orders in 24 hours. 9. Fruit pots like strawberries or cherries. I have strawberries. The cake became amazing and delicious. The cake is very moist, fluffy, light as a sponge cake material. It is green with the Pandan taste. Between the layer are full lining of Durian. The green icing was not too sweet. I'm looking forward to order a taro jack fruit cake for the next celebration.
Got the BBQ pig, custard and red bean beans, plus some cheese toast. They were all really good, but the bread-red bean ratio was much too much for the steamed red bean bean. I would instead get the baked rolls that are creamy and soft. The Custard was not described as the other review and had a yellow pattern on the top, which proved to be a lemon! BBQ pork chop is about what you expect, but with pig pile instead of pulled pork pile texture. In the end, the toast was delicious and milky, but you don't get the cheese to the middle. But I guess that's to be expected. I'd be back!
Small bakery big flavors. So fresh and great snacks and cakes. Drinks are also good! Staff already brought in! Thanks for being so close to my job!
Like bakeries in Chinatown in NYC. A lot of taste from my childhood. Amazing. The best sponge I've had since I left the east coat. Everything's great. The pig balls, the curry dumplings. Try everything. Very cheap.
This family owned business is a local gem. They specialize in Chinese Vietnamese baked goods including custom cakes. I ordered a taro cake with taro filling and it was delicious! A 8 custom two layer cake was $32. The cake was light and airy, not too sweet. The filling was a layer of real taro that has been sweetened and also a cream layer. I'm looking forward to trying their other cakes! When I went to pick up the cake, I noticed they also had a small number of premade cakes in the fridge. Seemed slightly cheaper than the custom cakes. Easy and fast service.
