Roberto's Taco Shop - La Jolla

I've lived in this Neighborhood my entire life, seen many restaurants come and go over the last 40 years. I remember when this Roberto's used to be a Domino's pizza, little Ceasars pizza and a big John's take bake pizza. They all came and went but Roberto's has stood the test of time due to their quality of food, portion size and hospitality. They have some of the best Tortas around and I'd highly recommend the carnitas one. If you're SUPER hungry go for the Carne asada fries WITH beans, you won't regret it and it might become a staple upon visiting. I'd also recommend their Surf Turf burrito, its easily my favorite burrito on the list. The crew their is very friendly and service is quick. Give them a try and you'll be coming back for more!!

So let me tell you about this place , I live off of Balboa and Genesee I go all the way over to this taco shop cause there food is worth it ! I love it . The enchiladas sauce is perfect

I was really pleased with my takeout last night! The large beef and cheese enchilada was packed full of ingredients. It exceeded my expectations! Thank you, Roberto's Clairemont—you truly are the best!

I was surprised by the size of this HUGE TACO! I paid $8 for a combo of two fish tacos, and this giant one came with it! I’m sure you would appreciate their great prices on tacos. I can't wait to go back!
