Bidra med feedbackAll Rise! Pancake. Wow, these pancakes can feed an army, or a hungry bodybuilder, Haha. If you go to you, you will get this welcome feeling at home. The smell of fresh pancakes in the air, the staff are super friendly, helpful and treat you like family. This is just a reflection from the owners themselves Richard Walker Sr, and Jr, who treat you as being part of their own family. Each pancake is made with this home feeling of love and care. All on their menu are massive portions, so come hungry or share. Of course, if you go to a restaurant that has pancake in the shield, you need to get some of their pancakes. Here is what I recommend: apple cake This pancake is massive and has volume. It is made with fresh granny forging apples, cinnamon glaze and a hint of nutmeg. You'd think this pancake is super dense, but it's not. If you take a bite, there are layers of taste. First you get the crunch of the outside of pancake, with the warm, soft, airy, chewing center of pancake, which is a beautiful layer texture you want. Second, comes taste of acidic tartness of granny forging apples (get your taste buds attention), get the next layer You warm gooey cinnamon glaze, then finally you get this little touch of nutmeg. All flavors get married perfectly. Please let you cook for 10 20 minutes, but it is worth it! Just order it when you sit down and ready before you know it! Pigs in a new car These are 3 sausages wrapped in pancakes, sprinkled with powder sugar, served with tropical sauce and butter on the side. I did not see this concept, and I tell you it was phenomenal. From the first bite, after I had given up the butter and the tropical sauce, you got the sugar kick from the pulverized sugar, the blow of citrus from the sauce, the cream of butter, the light flockness of the pancake, then get the beautiful snap from the shell into the spices of the sausage. The cool thing was that because the pancake was light and fluffy and wrapped it opens the pancake up for the tropical sauce soaking in the pancakes! You get this citrus flavor on all levels of taste, which complements well for this entree. Classical eggs Benedikt This duck is an English muffin, seared Canadian bacon, chopped eggs and house made Hollandaise; accompanied by Hashed Browns. If you want a delicious dish, that's for you. The homemade Hollandaise sauce is on the spot! This Hooandaise sauce complements the poached runny egg well, then you get the saltiness of the perfectly boiled ham. This is not the good part of the ingenious part is all the Hollandaise sauce, runny poached egg covered ham is soaked by the crispy English muffin that perfect texture feeling with every bite. Freaking Phenomena on any taste and texture level! Oh and don't forget the crispy top and perfectly cooked hash browns served with this duck. That was one of the best breakfasts I ever had! I ordered the signature apple cake. It's so big that I could eat half! It had only the right mix of apples and cinnamon, and was so moist there was no need for syrup. My son had the chocolate explosion crepe, which looked more like a decadent dessert, filled with strawberries, bananas and chocolate chips, and dipped with chocolate sauce. The thick cut bacon was also noticeable. The staff was super friendly and the food came fast. It is inconspicuous a popular place, but we must have taken it right. We had no time to sit when we arrived at 9:00, but there was a line outside the door when we were gone. The next time we're in town, we'll definitely visit here again.
My husband and I are on holiday for our anniversary. We discovered this wonderful breakfast place on the first day in La Jolla. Absolutely wonderful food and service! Will definitely be our breakfast place when we get back!
Excellent service staff, excellent outdoor terrace, dog friendly thanks and the best Omelette I ever had. It won't be better than that! Every time I go to San Diego, that's one of my goals.
The food was delicious and the waitress was on point at making sure your cup was full!
