Pho Van - La Jolla

Very authentic pho-width (not artificially sweet) from the right shimmer of bones and aromatics. Portion sizes are huge. Very recommended.

Super delicious!!! I love the environment and their food tastes homey. My go to is always the shrimp pho and their orange juice. Their servings are big enough that most of the time I can't finish my pho.

The food in this place taste great personally I enjoy the shrimp fried rice, seafood pho, vietnamese rolls, the broccoli beef. The fresh coconut was sweet and the copra of the coconut was soft and chewy. I would say that it's also quite cheap for 4 items (can soda, pho, fried rice, coconut)it was $30.00. As of now there is dining inside and outside. There is also parking in back but very limited. There is a restroom for the people dining.

The good: pho of course. The BBQ beef was on point too. Everyone was eating Pho in here today. Even saw a lady get Pho to go. Good hot tea. The bad: parking is not that great The ugly: I think there is a language barrier from patron to server, I was asking the waiter questions, that didn't get answered but was diverted to something not related.

My co-worker brought me to this restaurant for the first time. Bare in mind that I have lived abroad for 17 years I keep an open mind. My time away from the USA has taught me to keep an open mind (basically don’t judge a book by its cover). Much respect to the service and I almost forgot…. Don’t forget to try the ice coffee
