Pei Wei Asian Diner - La Jolla

As always a good place for fresh Asian cuisine and very clean. Like any fast food, it's a bit loud, but still a great lunch on the run.

The food here is good. Come on! It is a good old American food with an Asian twist. It's just what you think. I really enjoy the Pei Wei spicy tofu and vegetables. I wasn't here in a while, so I was surprised how they reorganized their menu. But basically you have your court as you want, and what's wrong with that, right? When was it so expensive? Dinner for 2 with an appetizer and no alcohol was near $50. Good, but definitely a splurge. Not the most convenient of dining rooms, but useful if you keep your head down.

This place has definitely improved over the last 6 months or so and had to give a great review for their comeback to my list of regular go-to-family dinner places. I like their gluten-free options! Gluten-free Mongolian? Yes! Service is great, food tastes well made and fresh, unlike whatever before. So happy!

Good warm food is served here, but sometimes waiting is ridiculous because the place is super busy and packed in top hours.

I go here several times a month. The food is always fresh, cooked to order unlike some of the other Asian fast food places. My favorite is the Caramel Chicken. The Pad Thai noodles are good too.
