Bidra med feedbackSo I don’t want to make this a bad review by any means, but more of something to set your expectations; So we came here for my sons birthday and assumed/expected more of an interactive experience throughout the dinner. That is not the case, nor did the restaurant set that expectation (so please read their website carefully). The food was meh, beer and wine served only and not included in meal price, the service team is EXCELLENT (seriously hats off), but the way this whole thing works is you spend 60-90 minutes being served a five course meal, and then when the dessert is finished a magician comes out to interact with the audience for about 20 minutes… It all feels like a cheap version of the magic castle. My son (12) and I ended up leaving before the magic happened because he was bored. So I can’t say how good the magic was, but from the other guests we were with it wasn’t overly amazing. It would be better if they had things happening throughout the dinner, an animated mirror or some gags along the way would break things up a bit and go a long way.
Very fun experience. The food was very tasty and unique and gave us a grand dinning experience. The magic show was very entertaining as well and our magician did a great job at keeping us laughing and smiling the whole time. Its a bit pricey at around 150 per person up definetely a great treat for birthdays or other celebrations.
We had a fantastic experience: a five course gourmet meal and an excellent magician/illusionist. The food was outstanding and the team at Mystique was gracious, friendly and helpful and the ambience and decor are memorable. Really looking forward to returning.
My brothers brought me here for my birthday, and I have Celiac. Mystique took every precaution, and I was able to enjoy the food and show without a care. It was wonderful!Dietary restrictions: All of my options were Gluten free, so I didn’t have to miss out on anything.
My wife recently received a gift certificate for an evening of dining and magic at Mystique. We had not heard of this place, so after figuring out an evening that worked, we made reservations. Interesting note when you make your reservations, you also choose your main course (the rest is somewhat of a fixed menu, with a few possible upgrades). Standard menu fare was prime rib (I'm definitely a carnivore, but do like my meat not to moo back at me), gourmet macaroni and cheese (there is simply no such thing), chicken cordon bleu, cioppino, and vegan. My wife agreed that the only choice that jumped out was the chicken cordon bleu, so I ordered that for both of us.We arrived, and were seated quickly at the rather ostentatious dining room, where we ordered some wine to enjoy, and rather quickly, our first course arrived a nicely arranged salad. We quickly moved through the courses, and when the main course arrived, both of us were pleasantly surprised this was easily the best cordon bleu either one of us had ever had. After dining, the featured magician began his show. I studied magic for about ten years, so know many of the subtle tricks that magicians use for misdirection. And I have to say, this guy was pretty good. I caught a few of his slight of hand moves, but quite a few, I was completely baffled. That's a good thing!Overall, this was a great experience and absolutely worth an evening of dining and magic.
