Cali Street Tacos - La Jolla

The Tortillas here were amazing! Super fresh tacos and really friendly staff! The fish taco and the veggie taco was delicious! I don't know why you'd go somewhere else in La Jolla.

Cool place and better tacos than ever! I would say the best tacos in Birdrock, but I think they are the best tacos in California! I and the girlfriend ate the other day and were stolen with the size of the tacos for the price. Not only are they a good thing, but they are authentic. They offer a free salsa bar with various choices and carrots and onions. Super clean place with many local parking free. I've never had a tortilla that tasted it, and now I'm stuck. We do not live nearby, but we will be sure to regular customers.

I went to Cali Street Tacos for the first time since I was at the motel just a few blocks away. I went in and saw that they had a little menu I liked. I ordered a Cheso Taco with Carne Asada and a few tacos. I loved their tacos being made with handmade tortillas. Next time I visit San Diego, it will be my place to eat. I highly recommend it.

I've had the 3 rolled tacos, al pastor and carne asada tacos, and French fries. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting, not greasy at all, and VERY affordable. The French fries are HUGE and only $2?! Literally family size. I'd love it if the el pastor had pineapple on it, which would add another layer of fresh flavor. From what I've eaten here, this is a great little spot that won't leave you with a food hangover.
