Boudin Bakery Cafe - La Jolla

The vegetarian chili dish was good as the tomato soup dish. There was a mistake in the order and they were gracious enough to give us a cookie. Thanks for the great customer service! Many breads available to take home and continue the sourdough party at home.

This bakery/cafe was a convenient stop once I got tired of the food at a nearby conference. They had several baked goods, and also a good selection of sandwiches on their fabulous sourdough bread (or multi grain, if you wish). The staff was friendly and the service was reasonably quick long enough that you can tell they're making things to order, but not a horrible wait.

The best sourdough bread I've had. The store is very well kept and the staff is great and helpful. Enroll in their rewards program to get a free loaf of bread a month.

A good place to get tasty bite to eat while at the mall. Soups, salads and sandwiches. Some desserts. Not super cheap, but delicious.

The best clam chowder served in a bread bowl, all of it delicious! Don’t miss out on the seasonal Easter cookies, and be sure to take home a loaf of San Francisco sourdough bread.
