Acquavite Italiano - La Jolla

Wonderful experience; could have been in Tuscany at a locals Enoteca! Gracious hostess/owner with a great sense of hospitality. The food was superb; quality ingredients prepared in a real Italian style. Is becoming our favorite La Jolla go to evening choice.

Excellent experience; excellent service and a very accommodating management. Authentic Italian food; almost felt like we were in Tuscany at a local restaurant. This will be one of lour local GO TO 'S.

This relative La Jolla newbie is trying to attract clientele by offering delicious and well-presented home made pastas and other authentic Italian dishes in the quiet and relaxed space, including some ocean views from the enclosed patio, that was previously occupied by Trattoria Acqua. Portions are generous and both food and wine are priced rather moderately for the area and quality. Likely to become our go-to place for a casual Italian meal out.

New authentic Italian. Owner chef is from Italy. Owned by couple living locally. Beautiful setting, wonderful view, excellent food. Great wines!!
