The main emphasis in the menu is placed on steaks of different types and maturation. They are brought to full readiness in your presence, which adds seriousness and some pathos to the establishment. However, the meat is really excellent. Special thanks to the waitress for the hint about the available steaks, their weight, and the opportunity to take meat for two. The side dishes also turned out to be relatively good at least, potatoes with mushrooms, and you should know about spinach that it is served almost raw, without processing . Их доводят до полной готовности в вашем присутствии, что добавляет заведению серьёзности и некоторого пафоса. Впрочем, мясо действительно отличное. Отдельное спасибо официантке за подсказку по поводу стейков, имеющихся в наличии, их веса, возможности взять мясо на двоих. Гарниры тоже оказались сравнительно неплохи по крайней мере, картошка с грибами, а о шпинате надо знать, что он подаётся практически сырой, без обработки .
The meat was perfecty cooked and tasteful! But the sides are also a part of the food experience. The mashed potatoes was totaly tasteless and runny. The bearnaise sauce was the worst I ever tasted in my life. Wouldn't even call it bearnaise, it didnt even taste like a one, sorry! Please learn how to make a proper bearnaise sauce. For this type of high end and expensive restaurant, you should at least expect some kind of standard.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 5 years. Every time I came here, the restaurant was great. It was one of the only restaurants that would properly serve a table first the starters then the main course a rarity in Nizhny. The last time was terrible. First, the waiter got the order wrong. She brought two starters and a main course… ok. Not a terrible mistake. Then, the other two main courses arrived, and one of the steaks was severely undercooked. We asked for well done, it came rare. What is to say of a “steakhouse” that cannot understand what the costumer wants and cannot cook a steak to the desired temperature. It was sent back to the kitchen, but the wait time after that was enormous. My mother had to eat alone after the my father and I had already finished eating. They tried to make up for it by sending us desserts on the house, and giving a discount on the check, but it doesn’t erase the poor experience we had. Definitely not up to standards. I understand this happened once in 5 years, but one time was enough to burn the restaurants image for our family.
