Shtolle - Kstovo

Not a bad place for a Russian-style fastfood which is not really fast, in fact, last time I visited we spent at least 20 min standing in the queue at the counter, they seem to be really short of staff, one and the same person was there to take the orders, make the payment, serve the pies and tea and then clean the tables, we might have fallen on a bad day but the it was something really annoying... then, as to tea, don`t expect more than basic teabags the kind you get on a Russian train, with a bit more effort they could do better, with the great location they have in Minin square. Pies were fine though, i`d say a bit expensive...

There are different varieties of pies and all of them are delicious. Also the prices are very reasonable. There is only one drawback: pies quickly ran out ^ ^

Great restaurant. You can have a business lunch here or hang out with friends. The food here is excellent!

On December 15, 2023, at around 7:50 pm, we arrived at Cafe Stolle for our favorite pies. There was a heavy snowstorm outside, with strong winds and snowfall. I was with a small child. The waitress, whose name I do not know but remember her big eyes and hair tied in a ponytail, informed us that they were closing at 8:15 for general cleaning and told us that we had to eat in 15 minutes and leave. So, according to her, in 15 minutes I had to undress my child and myself from winter clothes, sit at the table, devour the pies, and rush out into the snowstorm. It almost sounded like a command: on your mark, attention, go! Just the height of customer service! Naturally, we went to another establishment. I believe that any job should hire employees with a human brain, not a fish brain. And such waiters, without a hint of common sense, should be fired so that they do not tarnish the reputation of the establishment.

The restaurant has a very cozy and inviting atmosphere. The cake was deliciously sweet. It's unfortunate that there is only one meatless salad option on the menu. I really enjoyed the mushroom cream soup and would recommend it.
