The Swinside Inn - Keswick

Fantastic eating. great portions. beautiful to see various foods on the menu to most pubs.

Food and beverages were wonderful, nice to dine near to an open fire also. Only reason for not a full 5* and this is a very small thing. Is there was 1 member of staff standing to greet you whom didn't seem to know what his job was?? But he soon found someone who did and they sorted us out pronto.

Although what we ordered was very nice, we felt there wasn't enough choice in each of the 3 categories ie: starters, mains desserts.

Very good quality food at reasonable prices. We had the turkey and leek pie and locally made burger both had ample vegetables and freshly made salad. Yummy. We will return.

Great value 'pie night ' pie and drink for £10. Large servings, good beer, friendly service and an open fire what more could you ask for?
