Bidra med feedbackNoon and Mirch is a beautiful Indian restaurant in the Clear Lake area. I lived here for a while and never stopped and so happy to finally try this place. It has a beautiful interior, a tasty looking bar with excellent cocktails and great mood. I came here on a Friday night and it was pretty busy with many people who came to Friday night night/day night. I would recommend that the Noon Mirch Sampler Festival for 2 get you so much food. Honestly, this would be a whole family of 4 alone there was so much food. I loved the spinach and chicken pakoras that come as an appetizer and the curries. Note the curries if you want spices, make sure they know to add it. Most foods are made at medium level, unless you give otherwise. The sampler also comes with a Kabob plate and they give you so great variety and many options shrimp, chicken and lamb. If you get it for just 2, plan to take some rests home, unless you are super hungry! Yay, bonuses. I also had a masala dosa here was made to order so very fresh and tasty. All spices they use are fresh, and you can really taste the difference in every bite whether a curry or dosa. I was too full to try Dessert, but I'll try next time. You also have a private event room that can hold up to 75 people, it looks like a big party room. I plan a party so happened to ask a lot of questions to my server where hosting sounds like they are really flexible and can work with you to make your party as you want from menu to decor!
I wanted to try Noon Mirch since I moved to the area. It wasn't disappointed. My favorite was the chili distributor. The place is beautiful and they have a full bar. Just warn is that the dishes were not very spicy, but now I know more spices to ask.
Everything about this restaurant is amazing the atmosphere, employees, food and drinks I don’t think I have ever seen such a restaurant with the quality as this. 4.5 is definitely not the rating but 5 and more, you can tell by the flavors and aromas of the food there was a lot of thought into these dishes, definitely recommend, and also it’s family own which hits home because it really shows, the time and effort into the years the restaurant has been open!!
In Punjabi Language we have word Loon Mirch but this Indian Restaurant Noon Mirch, because of the bar there I was going to quit from this location but I tried to experience because my daughter recommended me. Really this was great experience because of Salad sauce and on top of the line Spinach crunchy Pakora, Green Chatni and the sweet chatni and then to mention tandoori naan. We got Momo Chicken two different kinds and the Sampler for One. We were because because of momos and pakora’s so couldn’t enjoy well with BBQ.
Everything about our meal was phenomenal. The place was very elegant with very comfortable and attractive furniture. We got the feast for two in order to sample a many dishes as we could span. The portions per person were plentiful. The flavors were a balance of bold and creamy. The tamarind sauce was delicious. The curries were a bit more mild than we expected but we were still very happy with our meal. This is the only picture I took because the food was too good to worry about pictures.
