Har Wee Yee - Hobart

Loved the food, ordered 3 different entrees and everyone enjoyed them, service was great and the prices were reasonable, if your looking for a good chinese meal i would recommend A+

As usual the Har Wee Yee was very popular Saturday night. The service was very fast for our take away. The staff are lovely and the food is always Amazing !! Highly recommend the sweet and sour pork and the satay beef.

I've only ordered takeaways from the Har Wee Yee and we've always really enjoyed the meals however some of the choices are a bit limited. For example the honey prawns are delicious but come with a huge amount of honey sauce whereas I'd prefer say a third the sauce and a few steamed vegies or at least to have them available as a separate item.

The restaurant is well located, tables are not crowded, the menu is large enough to satisfy anyone. The food is tasty, some of the Asian dishes are very delicate and easy to eat, spiced items are not too hot unless requested, The meals are served...hot, not luke warm or greasy and the service is excellent, being both prompt and friendly.We always compare other Asian establishments when away from home and have not found any that overtake this one. Prices are considered to be very reasonable.

We have been eating at this restaurant for more than 40 years, after coming back to live in Hobart after 20 years away, we went back with trepidation but it was great. The service was excellent and the food was to our liking. We will...go back to being regulars again.
