Bidra med feedbackWhilst spending four days in Hobart Templo was on the top of my bucket list. Dined here on Monday night with a friend and I am still dreaming about the food we ate. Everything was exceptional from start to finish including the G&T at the start to the beuatiful carrafee of chianti we drank. We both had the tasting menu and it was insanely good i could have eaten it all over again. The gnocchetti with the rabbit ragu was a major standout for us both. Service was excellent, food was by far some of the best I've ever had and the whole experience from the vibe, space, service was just sublime. Hands down to the chef for doing such an incredible job and the gorgeous wait staff you have working for you. Templo will be my first pit stop when I return back to Hobart. Keep up the exceptional work guys and thank you for the extra goodies up at the bar. Templo has inspired me to open up a space like this back home in melbourne as im in the industry and love what you guys do.
Possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten. Chefs Tasting Menu (8 dishes) was absolutely perfect amazing flavors, good portion sizes, creative but homely food. Service was flawless. Relaxed atmosphere. You MUST go here if visiting.
An absolutely stunning night! The food and service and wine were exceptional and this is a must if you're in Hobart. Definitely recommend to try the chefs menu as it has been put together for maximum enjoyment of all of the best cuisine and produce Hobart has to offer.
My girl friends and I decided to come to Hobart for a week of retreat. I suggested to dine at Templo because of the reviews. We had a great experience. The dishes were amazing. We shared three dishes: leeks and buttermilk, artichokes and burrata, carrots and fennel, and ragu tagliatelle (in which was too good to share according my friend so I didn’t even get a chance to eat it)! The hospitality and the vibe at Templo were inviting and warm. I just got back to where we stayed at Hobart and decided to write down this review straight away because I’m still buzzing with happiness!
Best food I have had in such a long time the simplicity of the restaurant itself, friendly staff including the chef (who happily chatted at the end and was very modest when complimented) all contributed to a great dining experience. Everything we ate was memorable. Favourites were artichoke, farfalle and gnocchi. 5 star food without the bells and whistles I was relaxed and in heaven!
