Bidra med feedbackGreat food, outstanding service I love the place I will go back anytime.
Very nice ambiance outside! Had the Mediterranean Pita with gyros meat. Very tasty! We cut ours up which made it easy to eat. Topped with the margaritas on the rocks.
HBG has always been my go to when I was craving a burger but after one of the worst dining experiences i have ever had last night, i will NEVER patronize them again. Their Burgers used to be mouthwatering awesome. The Burger i was served last night doesn 't even deserve the one star. The waitress stated you have two choices for how you want it cooked, pink or well done. In the past, they served angus beef patties which you could order medium rare without worry. Originally, they were served on Costeaux 's buns which are fabulous, but then they switched to a different bun but the Burger was still delicious, perfect size, juicy and cooked perfect. The patty that was served to me, on a slightly stale sesame bun, was flat, didn 't even fill the bun and cooked medium well even though I asked for medium rare. My dining partners burger came burnt and when she complained, the Manager came over and said that he could try to redo it pink but couldn 't promise how it would come out. He even admitted that they have cut back severly on their menu and quality of food available. This really surprised us as we know Doug Keane is one of he Owner 's, former Chef at Cyrus so how he could allow this kind of poor dining experience is puzzeling. I am beyond sad that one of my favorite places has fallen this far. Even their fries, which were always perfect were burnt and half the size as before.
Wonderful location. Healdsburg B&G sits in a wonderful little village found no where else in California. Love he food and drink. Tourists reign but are all of good mature (how can they not be given Healdsburg is in the center of Pinot country).
We stopped in for lunch on Sunday as we were headed to Ukiah and the food was sensational. A couple of us had the sesame crusted salmon salad. I asked that my salmon be cooked medium rare and it came out perfectly... so deliciously moist! The lettuce was nothing special, but the pickled ginger made everything come together so well; the flavor popped and made for a very memorable meal. Service was excellent and friendly and the outdoor dining patio was really pleasant. Today, on our way home, we returned for the salmon salad again (it was *that* good! . Our experience today didn 't quite match with Sunday 's experience. To begin with, we waited quite awhile for our salads; people who came in later were served their food before we got ours even though we ordered almost immediately since we knew what we wanted. When our salads finally arrived, the pieces of salmon were way smaller than what we had Sunday and my salad dressing didn 't seem to have quite as much flavor as Sunday 's dressing. Luckily, the pickled ginger provided the needed freshness to the salad, so it was still very good. The service was also not very friendly. In fact, as we were walking to our table, the hostess just handed me the menus and said, Here and left. They weren 't any busier than they were on Sunday. The waitress seemed a bit put out when we asked about the possibility of separate checks whereas the waitress on Sunday wasn 't bothered at all. Oh, well, I guess Sunday 's experience will be the one I 'll try to remember!
