The Secret Garden Cafe - Headingley

Same location but new look and updated name! Now called the Secret Garden Cafe, the bistro is still located inside Shelmerdine's Garden Centre. The best part is that it is now about 10 times bigger than the previous set up. Loads of seating and an upgraded menu to go with the new look. This is a long time coming as the garden centre is out of town and a bit of a drive from most food venues. Definitely worth skipping lunch at a fast food chain and supporting the cafe that has some surprisingly fresh soups, salads and other menu items. Cool off with freshly made lemonade or a selection of multiple flavours of gelato. Lots of other cold and hot drink choices including coffees and teas. If you're heading to the garden centre, be sure to stop in to the upgraded cafe.

Recently went to this cafe for the first time. Great food, great staff, and great prices. Only downside is limited seating

If you go to the garden centre, you should definitely go to the updated café.
