Decent Food Small Location Recommended ————— Detailed Review Below ————— The Grand Cafe located just outside the gates of the Grand Hotel in Nuwara Eliya is a small cafe serving baked goods and an assortment of drinks. I ordered their flat white which was just OK. The espresso shot was good but a flat white should have the milk microfoamed. The flat white here was much more like a cafe latte which is not what I expected or wanted. We also ordered a plain croissant and blueberry cheesecake both of which were quite average. Given the outstanding rating on Google (4.5 from 915 reviews) and all that I had heard/read about the Grand Hotel, the experience was a little disappointing. Verdict: Recommended given the lack of other decent alternatives close by. Food/ Quality 4/5 Location/ Ambiance 3/5 Price (Value for Money) 4/5 Service 5/5

Cute place to get coffee (out of the few) in Nuwara Eliya. The staff are friendly, and latte art is fun. Probably wouldn’t rush back for the food, as the portions were very small for the price. I had the fruit, yoghurt granola which came in a very tiny pot. Good place to escape the rain!

Quite and neat place to hangout once in a while. Food is so delicious. And their service is so friendly, we went to have evening snacks and a coffee. A perfect place to spend time. The chill climate of nuwara eliya gives an advantage of being here. A pleasant experience being there. And they have many different varieties of snacks which we cant find out side.

Nice and cozy coffeahop in the heart of Nuawar Eliya. Very good cappuccino, cakes and ice-cream. They also serve sandwiches and other bite foods. The service is good and all the personnel is nice and helpful. Also they have a shop to buy coffee, cookies, chutneys for home. Really nice place!
