Grand Thai - Hatton

We came here twice in two nights. Best thai food we've ever had. They put down rose petals and a candle on special request as well. Unmatchable service, unbelievable food, great ambiance. This hotel is filled with history. If you visit Nuwara Eliya you HAVE TO VISIT this restaurant. Bhanuka our server was amazing, and his recommendations were on point. And no words are enough for Mr. Pradeep the restaurant manager. Unexceptional with his professionalism and his eye for details and for making the customer feel really special. Sri Lanka has my heart and Grand Thai has my soul.

Food was good. That two dishes filld us all. Thai noodle is a must try.

The food was incredible, reasonably priced albeit a bit on the expensive side for what we’ve found in Sri Lanka but the setting of the Grand is beautiful so we expected to pay a small premium. Special shout-out to the manager Joachim who gave us 5* service all evening with his team. Thanks.

It is located in the basement of The Grand Hotel. It's an awesome looking hotel and the restaurant looked even amazing. The place has a nice ambiance with light music playing. We ordered 3 different chicken dishes. And they are all amazing. With the dishes you selected they serve complementary rice. Which is new to me. Service is great Had a mixed reaction seeing the expensive menu, which was lacking explanation and confusion but after the help by the waiter the confusion was sorted out and the prices came as average. The prices are inclusive of taxes. Recommended for family dine in and for a Grand experience.
