Kingston - Harlem

Placed a big order to share with friends. It was SO GOOD. All of it. Kids loved it. Grown ups loved it. Jerk salmon and the goat shrimp curry were the stars but ALL OF IT was so tasty.

Came in and the staff was very cool and courteous. Drinks were good, I have the spicy margarita, which was very spicy. our food came out and we were a group of 8. some of the people in the fold of our party was a bit cold, but they took the teller back and bought it immediately. I ordered the jerk salmon, sweet plantain and vegetables and my was warm and delicious. I would definitely come back.

It was a great experience for vaterday. my family and I were received and sitting right away. camille, the hostess was so warm and pleasant that she placed the food orders, refilled our water and checked if we had everything we needed. the food was for fast, cooked to perfection and delicious to die. to round it off, the setup felt authentic to Jamaica and allowed us to dive into the culture of harlem. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and I will definitely return! love.

Kingston was a surprise. I passed it a few times, but I wasn't sure it was authenticity. eating was great jerk pork bites (spiciously tasteful) were a great size app. we had the ochs with tears and cauliflower. they were very good and the portions were beautifully large. the rum punch has a hit packed! Of course someone else had an ice cold red strip. the music was super very dancing party vibe and the bartenders/witresses were attentive. they probably need another dedicated waiter on a Friday night, but everyone had a ball. we had 2 ten years old in our party and they enjoyed themselves.

I tried their Oxtail (as I am from Jamaica) and it was good, but they give such SMALL portions and the side order of Mac and Cheese Baked smelled SO Bad I was afraid to eat it for fear of it being spoiled. I would give them another chance but first impressions do count ...
