My favorite place now to get crispy and green. I've been eating here for three months. almost weekly orders. I'll take a break to two weeks. we also love the personal! I don't enjoy muffin or brot, it always doesn't seem fresh.

Def not enough staff. Unsure if their cooking these orders 1 at a time. Waiting time is slower than molasses dripping. Over 20min still waiting for soul food takeout. Never ever again. First last time. And $37.00 for 2 persons. We should’ve ate at a regular restaurant. This establishment def needs more staff as well as preparedness. TIP: Order ahead or go elsewhere. We so wanted to support a minority business. This one is not ready.

I read the reviews and still ordered my dinner. Can I please make some suggestions, 1. Please switch to real cheddar cheese for your macaroni, It taste like processed cheese. Put more soul seasonings in your cabbage. and get real tartar sauce for your fish, not warm packages. Your food is to pricey for the cafeteria food w/ no taste. I want you to succeed, so read your reviews and take heed and make minor changes and people will love it!!!! The 2 stars is for the delicious fried whiting.

I have only been here once. The food was ok, but I did not like the portions, for the price. They weigh the food, so a half of a piece of fish was placed under a whole piece, to look as if I had two pieces. A bone was included with my side of greens. I also felt like they could have cooked my catfish a little longer. The first sales lady was not inviting at all. They did have a variety of desserts that were reasonably priced (under $4). The atmosphere was nice.

Amazing food! I love it here they have the best soul food in town. I got the Turkey wings, greens and macaroni and cheese. It did not disappoint! I will definitely be coming back here.
