Pomodoro Italiano - Hamburg

First off the food is good. However consent mixups and delays with no attempt to fix it. We just ordered food. Our card was charged at 5. They told us an hour. It 's 8 o 'clock with no food. After trying to call them for over an hour. They told us our food hasn 't even been made and it should be here in another hour... Making around 9 at night. They did offer us a free soda for the inconvience. Funniest part is we don 't even drink soda. Like the food but everytime is a mess dealing with this place. Seems to be a reccuring issue with alot of places. When the oldest employee or person in charge is 16 years old. *UPDATED- to make up for forgetting our desert the one they did send was covered in mold. Yummy

My wife and decide to come here for dinner and it was going well until the waitress decided to argue with me over the mushrooms in my pasta. I specifically ask for no mushrooms and when I told her there was a bucket of mushrooms in my pasta she tried arguing to me I said no onions. Instead of just having the kitchen either remove them or make it again. She wanted to keep arguing and was very rude and unprofessional. Will not be coming back. What ever you do don't tell the staff your not happy with their food.

Order a salad with grilled chicken chicken. It was pretty average. The chicken wasn't seasoned and I had to ask for utensils and napkins. I will not be returning to this establishment!

Since the change in management (quality of food HUGE dif! , we've been eating there weekly (takeout after the gym YMCA down the road ! We've gotten a variety of different items: antipasto salad, chix parm sandwich, meatball parm, pastrami sandwich, specials, clams linguini, pizza, garlic knots, etc...and ALL have been delicious! Fresh, from scratch ingredients.... can smell and taste it! Pastrami had no fat on it and was so flavorful! Bread is fresh. Veggies on my salad were fresh...opened up the lid and could smell the fresh grated carrots, tomatoes, cucs, meats, moz, etc. couldn't wait to dive in! LOL. Keep up the GREAT work Pomodoro!

#WeddingRehearsaDinner I cannot express to you enough how under rated this restaurant is! I held a rehearsal dinner for 42 people and the staff was spot on! My family was raving about the food and the service! I cannot got the life of me understand why they don?t have a 5 star rating!
