The Lemonrie - HAHNDORF

Went in as all other restaurants were brimming. Had a beet burger with the others trying egg benny, tofu burger and mushrooms toasties. Minimal portions - left me feeling hungry. Pricey to boot.

Went here recently with my family and we all really enjoyed the food.... very helpful and friendly staff who will go above and beyond too make it a pleasant dining experience... fruit smoothies were also great :) there are plenty of healthy and indulgent items on the menu...

A quaint little cafe with very friendly service. Delicious food, great coffee and a menu with a great variety of selections. We really enjoyed our brunch.

The food took a while to be served, with the last dish being toast for our toddler. My husband's chicken burger was not satisfactory. My beef burger seemed fine at first, but I discovered that the meat in the middle was raw. When I brought it to their attention, I received a blank look, an offer for a replacement which I refused, and ultimately a refund which I accepted. It was disappointing to have eaten raw meat.

The coffee smelled wonderful and the cakes were truly exceptional. I felt like I had found a little piece of heaven in Hahndorf when I noticed the fresh lemon curd on one of the cakes. To my delight, they offered to prepare a pot of fresh lemon curd for me to take home, as it is my all-time favorite treat. It now sits in my fridge, waiting for special occasions when only the best will do. Aside from the amazing desserts, they also served freshly made burgers daily, although I had already indulged enough for one visit. Overall, I had an incredible experience at this cafe and will definitely be returning next year. Thank you for the unforgettable hospitality from Howard in Wales.
