All of the reviews about how Carl is a terrible boss are correct when I worked for him in Livingston when he had just taken ownership of that location he broke the AC system because he wouldn 't listen to an employee about how he couldn 't set it to below 75 degress he said it 's my store I can do whatever I want the employee who told him that new what he was talking about because he had worked for the previous owners so yes Carl is a POS

This company is the biggest joke and disgrace to Philly pretzel factory.Carl the owner is a terrible boss, he is very unprofessional. Rather than taking the time to train you appropriately in the necessary facets of the position he leaves you to your own devices and then is quick to criticize and humiliate about the slightest thing.Coaching and being a good Leader is an integral part of good culture and keeping good personnel. In the Army National Guard we learned this first hand. Carl missed at both! When Carl the Owner/Manager finally showed up after fours weeks of my non onboarding he was extremely critical and humiliated me. I have also heard him say if you drop dough on the ground before it goes in the oven it's OK you can put it back through the shredder, already twisted pretzels fall on the found also ok to put in the oven Gross and so unsanitary. I could keep going on and on, but I'II leave it at that.Do not recommend going inside this business orworking at this location very unprofessional!!!! Have a good day

I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always amazing. But recently I’ve heard that they are disrespectful to their workers and service members. Being in the army myself I find this disgusting. Fix how you treat your workers. I will no longer be supporting this business until the management comes out and apologizes for their actions. Not at all happy with how the owner talks to or treats his employees. Almost threatening and abusive. I cannot support an establishment like this.
