It's cozy, they were roasting coffee beans inside, which to me, added to the traditional Costar Rican atmosphere. We didn't get to see the live band playing or the mechanical bull working because it was a Tuesday. Service was great, the waiter was really friendly and tried to make some jokes to our German friend who's really good with Spanish, but maybe not with idioms. The price of the food was very reasonable, we ordered six beers and a sample platter of grilled meat for three (beef, chicken, pork, Costa Rican Salchichón and Chorizo), more than generous portion size. I only give them three stars because the beef was not that good, too salty and kind of tough to chew and it's a restaurant, after all. But I'd go again, just keeping in mind to order another beef cut, hopefully on a night with live music and when the mechanical bull is on.

Good customer service, very friendly people and traditional and not traditional food. Cowboy themed. For 3 adults and 1 kid..I paid 21000 colones., so, inexpensive. Ask for a ride in the mechanic bull.

Not good client service, food partially good, we expected more quality for kind of place. Not recommended if you're looking for nice experiences.

This is my best meal here so far. Chifrio was very good. Staff are always friendly. I highly recommend this place.
